Brenham is a city in east-central Texas, and is the center of Washington County. Brenham has a population of 18,748, according to the 2020 census. Brenham is south of College Station and is about halfway between Houston and Austin.

Lastly is the Chappell Hill Lavender Farm, where you can find grassy fields and enjoy the earthy smell of lavender. This farm is located a couple of miles northeast of Brenham along the Texas Independence Trail. Visitors can cut their lavender during the blooming season, typically from April through June and August through October.
